Hey Everyone,
Sorry I didn't blog yesterday, again I've been really busy. Today I'm gonna write a review on Scat by Carl Hiaasen.
It's a brilliantly written book. It's about a teacher who goes missing, but is she really missing? Her students go looking for her but come across many different people (and animals) along the way.
This book is a page-turner-never-put-down. The only badish thing would be that you really have to think about it along the way and really take it in. The story is constantly shifting between different peoples point of view.
Other than that, this story is amazing. You can tell that the author really thought about how the story was going to be written. The plot was so clever. I have been reading Hoot now, another Carl Hiaasen book, but I still can't stop thinking about how amazing and well written Scat was.
When I first heard of it, I didn't think I was going to like it. Then, I opened the book, read the first sentence and BOOM! I couldn't put it down!
Well I could go on and on (and on and on) about how amazing this book was but I think three paragraphs is enough.
I think I'm going to re-read it. Oh that's a good idea, I'm gonna go get it. Got to go, don't bother me, I'll be reading! :)
Later,
Fun Gal
